Vera and I were so lucky to be able to see Hawaii for the first time in April of 1999. I won a week's trip to Maui with
lodging at The Westin Hotel at Kanapolii Beach Resort. The trip was long as we had a three hour delay in Chicago that made the total trip 13 hours. Maui truly is paradise.
The ocean, the climate, the people who live there made it a very memorable occasion. The hotel was first class and having an $800 expense account sure was nice! I won the trip as part of work related
incentive trip. I was one of three people from my office to be awarded the trip. Both Vera and I look forward to returning again. One final word, on our
return trip we volunteered to be bumped in Hawaii and then again in Los Angeles. We received an extra night's stay in paradise and received $1,400 in American Airlines travel vouchers! |
